重温Steve Jobs对死亡的看法


巨人离世,精神却常存。

是时候重温2005年他在史丹佛大学演讲时提及他对死亡的看法。

.......Remembering that I'll be dead soon is the most important tool I've ever encountered to help me make the big choices in life. Because almost everything — all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure - these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important. Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart.

提醒自己快死了,是我在人生中下重大決定時,所用過最重要的工具。 几乎所有的一切——外在的期待、荣耀、对窘境或失败的恐惧感在面对死亡时就会统统消失,剩下的才是最重要的。




提醒自己即将死亡,是我所知最能避免畏懼失去的最佳方法。


面对死亡,你已经一无所有。你没有理由不再听取你内心的真正呼唤,没有理由不再顺应你的内心采取你最应该做的事。



........No one wants to die. Even people who want to go to heaven don't want to die to get there. And yet death is the destination we all share. No one has ever escaped it. And that is as it should be, because Death is very likely the single best invention of Life. It is Life's change agent. It clears out the old to make way for the new.......


没有人想要死亡。就算是那些想要上天堂的人也不想通过死亡到达那儿。

死亡是我们大家人生的终点。

死亡应该是人的生命中最完美的发明。

死亡是生命的更迭机制。它把旧的、老的清除掉,以便让新的生命有发展的空间。。。
